Thanksgiving 2008

Woo hooo!!!!!!! We're ALL gonna be at mom and dad's this Thanksgiving!!!!! Forysths included and Luca included!!!! Here are a few ideas we've been conjuring up:

1. Big Sunday Dinner on November 23rd - this would be a Damiano pre-thanksgiving Thanksgiving dinner. Here are the family favs for the menu: whole wheat mom rolls, white crescent Aunt Net rolls, turkey (brined by mom), mom's sauteed green beans, candied yams, normal baked yams for healthy people, mashed potatoes (by Idahoans), rosemary potatoes, gravy, stuffing, ricotta pie (by mom), apple pie (by francesca), apple cranberyy pie (by bethany), pumpkin pie, and peCAN pie (made by jeff)

2. Take a trip to Muir Woods

3. Have a BBQ, here's the menu: jeff's ribs, sweet potatoe fries (seasoned and normal) with maple dip, green salad, fruit, corn on the cob, grilled vegetables (like eggplant ... for you know who) and two Debbie Hillam salads for dessert and Torani drinks.

4. Walking to library and hanging out at Clayton Park

5. Go see "Twilight" movie on November 24th - girl's night out.

6. As adults, go see "Quantom of Solace" James Bond movie.

7. Go see HSM 3 (High School Musical) - this is totally Christina's idea and she said we should also all dress up as the people in the movie and she offered Jeff to dress up as Zack Effron.

8. Chrissy Fields - play and picnic (maybe Lucca's??)

9. Boys play ultimate frisbee and soccer?

Now tell us what you think and answer a few of our questions:

1. What are your expectations for the activities the week of Thanksgiving?

2. Are you opposed or for any of the above listed ideas?

OK, let the blogging/commenting/fighting/lovingly discussing begin ...

Loves to all,
Francesca and Christina

Blackburns will be here the whole time.....Walter has to work I think like MON-WED of the week of thanksgiving. It could be just MON and TUES, but I am pretty sure it's MON-WED.. kind of a bummer. Does anyone have any ideas for carting me to the clayton library? It's too bad that we don't have nonno's electric wheel chair anymore. And that maybe a LONG walk from the house to the library, no? I'll "google-map-it" to check the distance

okay, it's 4.3 miles from our house to the library... i think maybe i'll just drive there and meet you guys?

I love that Aria publishes her inner monologue for all to see and then immediately answers herself one minute later in a separate post. She's great, I'm just excited to see everybody.

We're hopefully coming in sometime late friday night slash saturday morning the 22nd.

The boys are also into doing other fun activities such as:
Rock Climbing
Halo
Motorbike Riding
and Spitting for Distance

These would all be great times for the girls to watch all the High School Musical movies back to back to back.
